Jenna Chan’s nude photos don’t surprise me at all.
What’s the big deal?, I say. After all, this is 2008 and not 1608. And as we’ve stopped burning people for being witches we should also stop persecuting young ladies for posing in the nude. Simple as that really.
But what does surprise me is Jenna Chan’s advertising pitch on her modelling webpage. And here I quote:

Would like to shoot with me. WTF!!! What the heck does she mean by that? I mean does she really mean that or not? Cos if she does, she’s gonna get an awful lot of takers (or should that be givers? Hahaha!)
Jenna Chan has now gained entry into Singapore’s “topless hall of fame” along with other notables such as Adeline Teo, the FHM girl-next-door and Daphne Ang, Singapore’s cavorting gymnast.

Elizabeth Wong, the Bukit Terlanjang, …no sorry Bukit Lanjan … councilor has done a set of sexy pictures!!!
But with a difference. Cos unlike the celebs who model for FHM or Maxim, Elizabeth Wong didn’t have a clue what was going on. She was asleep.
But the pictures don’t just show her asleep. They show her nude and – more worryingly - in “intimate positions” (use your imagination).
Elizabeth Wong is quite rightly angry and upset.
As she says on her blog:
The distribution and publication of these photos/video is a malicious attack on my personality. This constitutes a gross outrage on my modesty, a gross invasion of my privacy, and in particular the sanctity of my personal life. It is being done by unscrupuluous persons to embarrass and discredit me.
But then again this is Malaysian politics. So expect the unexpected.
But WHO took the pictures and WHY?
Well, the fact that someone was in Elizabeth Wong’s bedroom while she was naked and asleep raises some interesting questions of course.
No wonder it is rumoured that the pictures may have been taken and circulated by an ex-boyfriend.
But if it was an ex-boyfriend who took the photos, then why would he make the pictures available to the public? And why did he take the pictures in the first place? Because this would mean that he had been tricking her all along – even before they broke up. Utterly bizarre.
There could also be certain parties who have a political agenda and want to ruin Elizabeth Wong. And they could certainly “make it worthwhile” for someone to take such pictures and release them to the public.
I don’t know enough about the intrigues of Malaysian politics to know if that is possible or not.
But then again was she really asleep my friends? Well, take a look at the photo above again. Notice anything strange? Well why the hell is she wearing glasses!!!!! Who sleeps wearing glasses?!!!!! Hmmm… Something fishy is going on….
But one thing is for sure. And that is that it will be very difficult for Elizabeth to face her constituents in the future knowing they have probably seen her in the flesh. So now they will simply look through her and see what lies underneath.
Little wonder then that Elizabeth is reportedly going to tender her resignation from her cabinet post and state assembly seat.
And after that? Who knows?
