Manohara Pinot and Altantuya Shaariibuu
What is it with the Malaysian “elite” and foreign models?
First it was Altantuya Shaariibuu:
She got up to her neck in Malaysian politics and eventually paid the ultimate price -
- she was murdered and then her dead body was unceremoniously blown up with military grade explosives.
Nice I don’t think.
And now it’s the turn of a young Indonesian socialite called Manohara Pinot to pay the price for her Malaysian adventure.
Undeniably gorgeous, Manohara Pinot had been a star on the Indonesian socialite circuit and had even been romantically linked to one of the kid’s from Indonesia’s incredibly wealthy Bakrie family.
But things don’t work out, and in steps a “prince” from the Kelantan royal household in Malaysia to save the day.
To cut a short story even shorter, she agrees to marry him – for only reasons she can understand - even though she is barely out of childhood (age, a sweet 16).
But, alas, there’s no fairytale ending.
…she was reportedly forced to have sex while in menstruation
…she was reportedly kidnapped in Saudi Arabia and taken back to Malaysia
…she reportedly had her breasts “slashed”
So where is Manohara Pinot now? Well no one really knows. Her mother has been unable to contact her and was even denied entry into Malaysia to meet her.
But for the love of God we can only hope one thing -
And that is the Malaysians don’t try to blow her up!
Undeniably gorgeous, how long will Manohara Pinot have to wait before she is rescued?
